OUR MISSION…

 

SMILE Uganda believes that we, the Church must be the “hands of Jesus.”

 

Matthew aa5:16 says “...let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

And James 1:22 says: “Do not merely listen to the word… Do what it says.”

 

We exist to offer hope, life and a smile to the peoples of the Nation of Uganda; especially the children.

 

We believe showing suffering people that Christians care and there is a people group who desires to make a lasting impact on their lives is a powerful expression of our faith and love for God. SMILE Uganda empowers, equips and strengthens the local communities/churches, governmental and business leaders to serve their communities, enabling them to act as beacons of hope to their people and to spread the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.

Grassroots initiatives tackle entrenched and intertwined problems of poverty—and people experience transformation in their lives, in their families, in their local congregations, and in their communities.
